CAD Operator (MEP Draftsman)
The Role
• Preparation of MEP design drawings under the supervision of the design engineer
• Preparation of MEP coordination drawings for MEP Services with other trades
• Preparation of shop drawings for MEP services
Requirements
• 3-5 years experience in AutoCad Drafting and/or MEP Service Coordination with reputable contracting firm
• Skillfully work on AutoCad
• Experience with AutoCad MEP/REVIT is a plus
• ”Can do” attitude with minimum supervision
• REVIT/BIM capabilities are a plus
Job :
1. Prepares shop/detail drawings and as built drawings.
2. Prepares MEP builders work & composite drawings.
3. Prepares bottom of duct & level of pipe
4. Ensures and maintains quality for finished drawings.
5. Prepares drawing required for government permits and utility
companies.
6. develop detail pipe layout and isometric drawings
7. Coordinate the ductwork with other trade i.e structural, piping, electrical & interior design.
8.Prepare duct layout from single line diagram conceptual sketches &
Engineering instruction.
9. Develop plant room layout and sectional detail
10.Basic knowledge of air-conditioning design
11. Conducts site verification as required
12. Maintains and updates electronic and manual records of the company.
13. Secure all company documents at all times
14. Recommends changes for improvement in the system, methods and procedures.
15. Abides with the company rules regulations.
16. Performs other related duties as maybe assign by the Superior Skills.
