Responsibilities
• Encourage and influence to ensure areas of spends, direct and in-direct, channeled through central Procurement.
• Actively engage and manage own supply base of suppliers and contractors.
• Support the development of a robust SRM strategy which encourages flow of information.
• Support in arranging suitable contracts and supply agreements for the goods and services required by the company.
• Ensuring that goods and services are delivered in accordance with the order instructions and ensure an efficient service is provided to the end user.
• Ensure that all procurement activity and tender requirements are in accordance with the company’s financial regulations.
• Establish internal relationships with all service areas, identifying key areas for review driven by stakeholder requirements.
• Engage with external sources of information, i.e. suppliers and contractors to be seen as sources for ideas and innovation.
• Build Strategic alliances with key partners to enable long term partnerships to form.
• Establish service level agreements and contracts for all requirements.
