Chinese Purchasing Representative

Duties and Responsibilities:
Import
– Sends inquiries to the factories and secures the factory
– Coordinates with factories for pricing, stuffing, delivery –
lead time, payment term, marketing collaterals and other concerns
– Coordinates and follow-up with Accounts for payment processing
– Do continuous follow up with factory for QC inspection
Once goods had passed, coordinates with China office for container loading
Direct Shipment (Export)
– Sending offers and suggested products to clients
– Once order is confirmed, coordinates and follow-up with Accounts for payment processing
– Arrange for third party inspection & documentation prior to shipment of goods
– Schedules the container loading once goods had passed the inspection
– Secures client’s confirmation on the freight before loading
Prepares the draft of shipping documents for finalization of Accounts
– Does the follow-up on the status of original shipping docs for customs clearance of the client
Local to Export
-Sending offers and suggested products to clients
– Do continuous follow up to secure order confirmation
– Schedules the container loading once goods had passed the inspection
– Secures client’s confirmation on the freight before loading
Marketing
– Secures and tabulate all the information required in preparing the marketing collaterals
– In direct contact with factories for other useful data for Marketing purposes
– Reviews the factory’s instruction manuals and arrange it according to brand guideline ie. Grammar, completeness of details.
– Coordinates with the translators for Arabic + French + German translations.
– Checks all the marketing collaterals model-wise prior to printing to ensure it meets the brand standards.
Others
– Assists in coordinating with government agencies such as ESMA, DCL, etc for certification.
– Can speak and write good English.
