Minimum Requirements:
Civil Engineer with minimum 4 years UAE experience in Tender/Contracts/Estimation department.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Coordination and preparation of technical and commercial tender.
2. Develop tender cost summaries including equipment, materials and labour calculations for final approval.
3. Sound knowledge of estimation process, tendering and analysis of drawings, specifications, floating enquiries, evaluation of quotations and pre- & post tender activities.
4. Collection of subcontract quotations using various methods. Price project preliminaries according to project duration, requirements & prepare top sheets and tender price analysis & calculating a final figure for the estimated cost.
5. Formulate and develop all contracts related to the project and update whenever required
6. Compile all technical and commercial clarifications with client & subcontractors contracts.
7. Review and analyze tender documents (Conditions of Contract) and highlight needed information.
8. Responsible for identification, evaluation & submission of variations in claims and contracts as well as handle contractual correspondences.
9. Experience in preparation of comparison sheets, negotiation, and finalization of vendors and sub-contractors.
10. Asses review and finalize bank guarantees required under agreement from client, suppliers and subcontractors.
11. Coordination with insurance companies for establishment of project specific and general Insurance policies in line with contractual requirements and for insurance claims.
12. Preparation of sub-contract documentation in accordance with company policy and procedural requirements and review of all subcontractors claim issues, whenever necessary.
13. Coordination and correspondence with client and Subcontractors including notices/notification and maintaining the correspondence register.
