• Have a wide knowledge of steel fabrication processes as cutting, fabrication, milling, welding procedures steel erection, handrails, sheet metal, rolling and bending.
• Able to do material take off for steel structure.
• Able to cooperate and advice the design team for detailing and structural calculations.
• Good knowledge with steel fabrication machines and CNC machines
• Strong knowledge of machine tools and die design for steel machines
• Able to do material optimization and cost savings
• Good knowledge of steel and stainless steels suppliers and manufacturers.
• Able to develop and manage steel fabrication unit.
Skills
The candidate must have the following skills:
• Good managerial skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Good knowledge of MS-word , excel and outlook.
• Auto cad is an advantage.
• knowledge of international standards, BS , ASTM , AAMA related to steel work.
