Document Controller

A multi-national construction company looking for a Document Controller with 2 to 5 years of work experience in the UAE for their project in Jebel Ali, Dubai. This is a 10 months project which involves the construction of roads and bridges.
Key activities / Result areas:
• Receive, check on completeness, register, scan, file and control the master (original) documents and soft copies.
• Issue documents to all necessary parties.
• Distribute of controlled copies as required, and collection of superseded revisions.
• Arrange internal discipline checks and the expediting thereof.
• Complete the Document Deliverable Register.
• Receive, check on completeness, register, scan, OCR/indexing, file and control the master (original) correspondence and soft copies.
• Check on a daily basis the status of documents/correspondence.
• Provide document control reports.
Education & Qualifications:
• The candidate must hold a degree or a diploma.
• He or She should have practical experience in using EDMS.
• Experience in a comparable position in a contractor’s environment.
• Willing to work with and in other cultures.
