Woodcraft Supervisor

The Woodcraft Supervisor will direct the day-to-day operations of Woodcraft production. As in an active design and production environment, the supervisor will have responsibility for maintaining necessary production schedules to meet customer demand and satisfaction. The Supervisor should understand and implement standard safety regulations and guides the safe flow of work in Woodcraft. The Woodcraft supervisor will be responsible for all supply, equipment and purchase requisitions, as well as analyzing and maintaining up-to-date cost analysis for each product. This includes developing the knowledge to follow a TOC Supply buffer process.
Special skills, knowledge and abilities:
Leadership abilities, good communication skills, knowledge of furniture’s production, costing and product development, experienced in furniture design and manufacturing techniques; experience with all types of woodworking machinery specially Wood CNC machines, tools and processes; understanding safety guidelines.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
*Responsible for the coordination of daily operations on the production floor and troubleshooting to ensure that all operations are on target.
*Ensure that’s the operator of the CNC Wood Machines operates carefully and as per the instructions.
*Manage and coordinate workers activities to achieve production goals while maximizing use of the man power, materials and resources.
*Train and instruct workers regarding all aspects of production activities.
*Assist in managing the production schedule and quality standards of the department.
*Ensure safety of all employees of the team and participate in safety initiatives.
*Guide and coach production team workers.
*Strong support of continuous improvement and quality objectives.
*Works with clients on custom design for wood items/furniture.

Fonts like Calibri, Cambria, and Georgia come preinstalled on most computers. Also be sure to avoid uncommon fonts — particularly ones downloaded from the internet.
