Responsibilities as a Purchasing Executive, you’ll need to:
Collaborate with Sales and Export department to understand the forecast and upcoming demands.
Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
Perform cost and scenario analysis in order to benchmark operational standards.
Assess, manage and mitigate risks.
Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
Maintain purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
You as a person must have;
Proven working experience as Purchasing Executive, agent or officer.
Hands on experience in ERP software.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Empathic listening skills to attend to customers and internal staff.
Multitasking and good organization skills.
Good interpersonal skills and professional etiquettes.
Outstandingly warm, attentiveness and courteousness towards the entire team.
A knack for negotiation and networking.
Job Requirements:
B.com and/or Professional Qualification in supply chain management and /or any field of study.
Excellent command in English and Hindi is a must.
Very good hands on experience in MS Word, Excel etc.
