We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our customers’ IT infrastructure solutions. Candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, highly available data center solutions
Educational Qualification: Bachelor in Engineering/Computer Science graduate or equivalent.
The candidate must have the following capabilities:
• 5-7 years of prior IT experience
• Prior experience in working for IT solutions provider company
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate by phone or in person
• Demonstrated written communication skills
• Understand & gather customer business requirements related to the IT systems
• Derive solution architecture discussion with the customer teams & win their confidence
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers
• Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
• Plan and modify products to meet customer needs
• Help clients solve problems with installed equipment
• Understand and the RFPs and should be able to put across optimum response
• Co-ordinate with the vendors, OEMs and derive cost effective solution designs
• Hands on experience with servers, storage, backup & virtualization
• Proven background of providing great customer service
• Ability to work independently, prioritizes existing projects, and proactively determine areas requiring additional attention, monitoring, or maintenance.
