MEP Engineer Interior Fit out

1. You will be expected to lead the electrical works (from Concept stage through to design shop drawing to execution and close out the project) for a variety of project types, and also be called upon to lead multi-discipline teams as the MEP/project manager, interfacing directly with architects and clients.
2. Project experience should include (at a minimum) design and installation; MEP coordination, power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, low voltage system , emergency power systems ,CCTV , Public Address , UPS .
3. Coordination with cities/malls and permitting Authorities and get drawing approval FROM (DEWA , ADDC , SEWA , FEWA , ETISALAT ,CIVIL DEFENCE and DM)
4. Have good knowledge in other MEP services like (HVAC , Plumping , Fire fighting )
5. Your experience should include a broad range of completed projects related specifically to the MEP contracting field of electrical engineering.
6. Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate program of assigned engineering work and projects
7. Assigns and coordinates work to MEP Drafters
8. The position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on the ability to organize and present design information to our clients.
9. Plan and manage CAD documentation of design work under guidance of more senior staff, represent our client at meetings.
10. Carry out project work within agreed deadlines and within budget.
11. Meet appropriate service/design decisions.
12. Inform more senior staff and peers of important and relevant service/design decisions, assert that the objectives of the company and the client are being achieved.
13. Coordinating his/her work with other members of the project team
14. Work competently on an independent basis
15. Prepare technical and financial schedules for new work
16. Manage workload of Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians
17. Prepare and take responsibility for concept and preliminary engineering solutions for detail design.
18. Prepare Technical Specifications
19. Monitor financial performance of jobs
20. Set up and manage job/project administrative systems, including and monitoring job resourcing/expenditure (adjusting these as necessary).
Minimum Requirement
1. 4-6 years experience in Electrical Engineering in an Interior fit out company
2. Degree holder of Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (B.Sc. /BE) from a recognized university
3. You will be expected to have very good relationship with local authorities and have already registered /approved from one or both of DEWA/ADDC.
4. Ability to accept a high degree of responsibility in a team-based organization, combined with ability to work independently.
5. Broad electrical design knowledge, from working on a wide range of projects.
6. Good communication skills in oral and written English
7. Knowledge in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
8. Valid UAE driving license
