We are a specialist AV Company looking for a Rigger to join our production team in Dubai, UAE.
Successful candidates will:
• Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Live Event Industry
• Be able to effectively communicate in written and spoken English
• Be capable of handling the following Rigging and Chain Hoist Systems :
– CM-ET, Lodestar, GIS, Stagemaker, ChainMaster, etc
• Have full knowledge of Safe Rigging Practices and Load Calculation
• Have experience with Realtime Load Sensors
• Be aware of the Health and Safety Laws in the UAE
• Be capable of assembling large truss structures and ground support
• Be capable of producing rigging plots to scale using a CAD application
• Have full knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Other indispensable criteria:
– Professional appearance and demeanour
– Excellent customer service skills
– Keep updated with technological trends
– Assist with other interdepartmental duties as required
– Perform all other job related duties as requested
– Driver’s License and own car.
Candidates with the following attributes could score Bonus Points:
– Experience with Rigging Automation, Stage Automation
– Capable of producing own drawings with AutoCad, Archicad or Vectorworks.
