Security Guards are required to inspect and patrol properties to protect against vandalism, terrorism, theft, fire, and different types of illegal activities. They may be armed and use various telecommunications devices to call for assistance from fire fighters, police forces, and emergency medical services if necessary. These guards also interview witnesses or victims to prepare case reports and testify in court. They may work on their own in small infrastructures or team up with other guards in large organizations.
