Guest Service Assistant
-Check the arrival list upon reporting for work and coordinate with the Concierge with regards to guests’ pick-up.
-Greet the guest in an appropriate manner.
-Fill-in the guest registration card with the necessary information.
-Collect the passport for proper documentation.
-Understand and strictly adhere to proper credit and cash handling policies and procedures.
-Use suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and promote the services of the Hotel.
-Coordinate the room status with the Housekeeping Department.
-Perform cash-related functions like posting charges to the guest’s accounts, raising paid outs and currency exchange.
-Process guest’s check-outs.
-Coordinate with the Duty Manager with regards to any unusual occurrences or guest’s request.
-Exhibit sensitivity to the guest’s needs and ensure that they are properly noted and endorsed.
-Offer assistance in an appropriate manner.
