Job Responsibilities: The individual should be self-motivated, creative and proactive, to work successfully in a fast-paced environment including multiple platforms and architectures, diverse technologies and lab environments. The individual will work closely with developers, project managers, client/business teams and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC, executing test iterations, tracking / reporting results, troubleshooting and coordinating defect resolution. The individual should have a strong understanding of SDLC processes and the QA lifecycle and methodology.   Major Responsibilities: Collaborate with Product Development, Product Management and other cross-functional groups to deliver high-quality products. Create and execute test plans, test data, test cases to ensure quality for web and mobile applications. Develop and lead the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles using relevant automation tools. Execute and analysis automation test results. Contribute to design and development of scalable, reliable and fast-automated test frameworks. Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution. Perform web, API, UI, functional, regression, smoke, black box, security, accessibility and end-to-end testing. Work with functional teams in reducing error rates and perform root cause analysis of errors/trends. Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate, using Quality Center or similar tools/means. Support production deployment of applications and perform “validation testing”. Work with an experienced team to deliver high-quality releases.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements: Experience/Skills: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on work experience as a Test Engineer. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Technical background and an understanding of SDLC processes. Good development/scripting skills in common languages like C#, HTML, MVC, JQuery etc. Database skills, mainly in SQL Server. Good understanding of object oriented programming. Knowledge and experience of automated testing tools. Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously. Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated. Punctual, Regular and consistent attendance.   Education: BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Web Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or other related degree.
