Planning Engineer

Job Requirements: -Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related discipline - 3-5 years Project Planning experience in Oil/Gas and Petrochemical Industries. - Demonstrate Primavera Project Planning software of P6 operating expertise (Hands on experience) - Ability to apply Critical Path Method planning techniques to develop detail Engineering and Installation Project networks and schedules.   Roles and Responsibility: - Preparation of Project Baseline schedule(Construction Schedule). Loading of schedule with Resource and Cost -Going through all contractual documents such as Scope of work, Drawings, Specifications, BOQ and Contract agreements before finalization of Project Schedule. -Project progress Monitoring and Controlling by comparison of Planned vs. Actual. -Monitoring of Progress with Progress ‘S” Curve Progress updating and reporting on Monthly and Weekly basis Preparation of Manpower Histograms for and monitoring of Manpower on weekly and daily basis -Preparation of Look ahead schedule for 3 weeks and 3 months for internal circulation of execution team. Forecasting of critical activities that falls under critical path well in before advance. -Closely working with project manager and execution team and timely updating on status of project over critical milestones to be achieved. -Analyzing of Delay Impacts and coming up with Action plans to overcome delays. Preparing of EOT claims required for Claims of Extension of time due to Delays occurred form clients side. -Close monitoring of progress on basis of Project core materials usage such as Concrete, Steel, and Formwork etc. Preparing of recovery schedule in course of major delays occurrences and Stargazing the execution plans in view to catch up delays. -Monitoring of productivity at site and updating the same to the productivity data bank Leveling of Resource in view of Resource over allocation and under allocation.
