URGENT VACANCY
A leading Contracting Company in the Oilfield Services based in Abu Dhabi with the ability to provide compact, cost-effective solutions for fabrication and construction works seeks to appoint:
QA/QC MANAGER
• Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Degree in a relevant engineering discipline; 10-15 years broad experience in all phases of major Oil and Gas projects.
• Capable of preparing company QA Manual control and supervision of all amendments and revisions; Familiar with different international standards specification / inspection field and related QA/QC documentation; Capable of implementing a Quality Assurance Program at project level, including setting up Quality Assurance Plan / Procedures; Capable of generating WPS and QPR;
Enforcing the QA system on main subcontractors, conducting regular audits, leading the QA/QC Team on site and coordinating QA/QC matters with the client’s team.
• Trained ISO 9001 Lead Assessor / Internal Auditor; Can perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the company management; Coordination and control of In-Process Inspection, In- Coming Inspection, Final Inspection and Welding Inspection; Analysis of tender documents, customer related process (design, material, drawings, sizes, specifications) related to QA/ QC activities; Additionally to work as Management Representative (MR) for the organization on IS0 9001:2000 Quality Management System (QMS); Review quality inspection personnel qualification and training requirement; Attending onsite client complaints and submit appropriate reports; Demonstrate strong client-facing capabilities.
• Excellent reasoning and analytical problem-solving skills; Good oral and written English language with good report writing and computer skills; Able to start immediately.
