Light Vehicle and Heavy Tractor / Forklift Drivers - Dynamic and fast growing international supermarket chain is looking for talented and qualified Light and Heavy Tractor and Forklift Operators. Assigned Location: Kizad, Abu Dhabi - Responsibilities: - Operate the reach trucks / forklifts for loading, unloading, putting away on high racks by following safety procedures. Make sure that the loading / unloading / assembly are correctly placed and secured by using ropes and chains to avoid damage to the truck or the goods.
Report vehicle / tractor maintenance needs. Maintain and check the proper condition of the equipment used. Maintain a logbook as may be required during the operations. Requirements: - Possession of a valid UAE Drivers Licence (Light / Heavy Tractor, Forklift, Mechanical and Shovel) - No. 7 as applicable. Reach truck operating experience is an added advantage. Equivalent combination of training, education or experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities for the equipment use. Knowledge of the operation and minimum maintenance of light vehicles. Ability to operate light motor vehicles safely and efficiently; perform light manual labor; follow oral and written instructions; compare product names and numbers; use and complete forms and logs; write legibly.
