A Dubai based HACCP Complied frozen food processing company is looking to add a detail-oriented, and self-motivated Quality Control Specialist to their dynamic team. Role overview/Job Description: – Responsible for development and implementation of HACCP management program and food safety system.
– Responsible for communication of quality food safety standards through training, corrective action quality of food safety audits, and product evaluations.
– Record maintenance and implement all prerequisite programs required for the HACCP program.
– Responsible for Monitoring, controlling and verification of the critical control points throughout the processing and raises non-conformance reports for immediate corrective action.
-Assure food safety by ensuring the time and temperature control requirement of food products from raw material receiving, storing, cooking, blast chilling, forming, tray setting, blast freezing and packing.
-Set up the process manual with food safety procedures and processes to minimize and eliminate non-conformances within the factory.
-Report any physical, chemical and microbiological food safety hazard encountered within the unit and conducts investigation of food complaints to prevent reoccurrence.
-Conduct tests on effectiveness of chlorine levels, goods acceptance, and fruit and vegetable sanitization.
-Monitor personal hygiene practices of staff and advise them in case of non compliance to hygiene
regulations.
-Liaise with pest control representatives on pest sightings and observations.
-Interact with clients with regard to any complaints and follow up for any actions
Requirements
-5 years of Frozen food industry experience in the Middle East is mandatory. -Female candidate preferred
-Professional qualification in Food based Quality Control and/or Microbiology
-Ability to work independently, make appropriate decisions and communicate clearly.
-Quality Reporting Skills and good communication skills.
-Skills in SOP, GMP operations related to food Industry.
