Recruitment Officer Aviation

Work Performed:
• Lead overall company recruitment efforts to include assisting managers with sourcing, developing job descriptions and posting positions on internal and external websites and job boards.
• Recruit for aviation, support and operational positions to meet manning requirements.
• Ensure the suitability of each candidate by ensuring that the candidate meets the pre-defined criteria before presenting final shortlists of candidates to the company's management and HR team.
• Confer with human resource representative to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications and skills.
• Review CVS and credentials for appropriate knowledge, skills and abilities in relation to position requirements.
• Source, pre-screen, schedule and conduct interviews utilizing various recruiting methods to attract potential candidates to ensure they meet the high standards set by the company.
• Develop creative strategies to attract and recruit applicants to build a candidate pipeline for each position within the assigned region.
• Advertising, recruiting, interviewing and selection process according to company standards.
• Provide their expertise or competency in both large-scale recruitment campaigns and bespoke senior level assignments by using recruitment methodologies depending on the nature of the roles such as: database (pool of candidates and jobseekers), portals (both regional and international job boards) advertisements (press, digital and specialist publications), and attend career fairs.
• Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position.
• Ability to present new recruiting concepts.
• Maintains accurate applicant documentation on recruitment activity to ensure the safety of the records.
• Register all applicable applicants through the relevant applicant tracking system and report on weekly basis as to the progress of recruitment activity.
• Flexibility with work schedule.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum 5 years experience in recruiting for aviation industry.
• Experience with on boarding and other HR functions.
• Ability to apply judgment and make sound decisions.
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Preferably user of Taleo Applicant Tracking System.
• Computer proficient – Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint.
