Closely monitor site activities and conduct inspections to ensure quality of work is in compliance with contract requirements, good construction practice, only approved materials are used, compliance with shop drawings, and report to MEP Engineers / RE / Project Manager. To make sure that any activity offered for any inspection has an approved shop drawing, method statement (MS), Quality Control Procedure (QCP) and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP). Inspection of Testing and commissioning of Electrical (preferably) Installations including different tests before & after energization like (continuity test , polarity test, insulation resistance test, earth electrode resistance test, external and internal earth fault Loop impedance test, RCD’s operation tests etc). Coordination with client, project Managers, contractors, suppliers and authorities. Traveling to the various sites to complete physical inspections and site surveys. Prepare and maintain project documents per agreed deliverables like correspondence, minutes of meeting, notes etc. To make sure that all materials used comply with the approved Material Approval Request (MAR). To make sure that any non-conformity has been reported through a Non Conformance Report. Keep on learning skills as per modern practices in the relevant field and update other disciplines organization wide. Support Human Resource Manager in technical interviews while upgrading mechanical engineering department according to new resource requirements as may arise.
Requirements
MUST HAVE: - UAE Driving license and own car - Should have atleast 5 years of experience in site inspection (Electrical). Education: Graduate (B.E. Electrical) or Diploma Skills: AutoCAD, Revit MEP (preferable), MS Office & Detail Drafting skills.
