Requirements
ROLE The Business Development Manager contributes to the elaboration and implementation of the business development strategy and leads in the pursuit of specific new business opportunities to meet our annual revenue targets. The Business Development Manager develops and maintains effective working relationships UN, NGOs and other partner institutions to win new business. The Business Development Manager will be expected to be able to hit the ground running managing his own time, diary and portfolio of existing and potential clients. RESPONSIBILITIES Contributes to business development plans to meet our annual revenue targets, outlining target clients and regions/countries. Stays current on information/intelligence of future priorities, trends, development methodologies of UN and NGOs that impact our business and proposal development process. Present our company portfolio to decision-makers, potential partners, private sector entities and government counterparts. Conducts handover meetings for successful proposals with implementation and technical staff to ensure continuity. Engages with clients to identify their needs, define the issues, and provide them with clear and articulate information relative to how we can meet their needs. Strategize implementation of Performance Management System of development at clients end with respect to Bids submitted and facilitating etc. Attend workshops, trade shows and seminars to keep up-to-date on changes and trends in the industry. QUALIFICATIONS 15 years of related experience, or combination of formal education/training and experience in Humanitarian Supply Chain Industry Excellent written communication skills, including ability to write, integrate, and edit technical approaches on a wide range of development topics, articulating solutions in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner. Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills. Experience in and thorough understanding of procurement procedures in UN and NGOs is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. Valid UAE Driving License TRAVEL Frequent international travel required.

How to Use Keywords in Your Resume
ATS software is not always accurate. So when you’ve found the keywords to put on your resume, you need to include them clearly so that the ATS can read them.
Don’t: Embed resume keywords in images or use fancy fonts.
Do: Use standard fonts and avoid images in favor of plain text.

 

Include a Mix of Skills, Qualifications, and Industry-specific Words
The ideal keywords to include in your resume should be related to soft skills and hard skills.
Other keywords include any certifications you have — as long as they’re specified in the job listing.
For instance, if the job ad for a web developer role mentions “programming languages,” your skills section might look like this:
C++
Java
Python
TypeScript
These languages are good examples of industry-specific terminology. Only people specializing in IT are likely to know what “TypeScript” is.
It’s important to use job-specific resume keywords so that the hiring manager knows you’re familiar with the industry — even if you’re looking for an entry-level job.
Including these words shows you’ve done at least the minimum amount of research, and have an interest in the field.
Also, use synonyms to increase the variety of keywords on your resume. A “programmer” should also refer to themself as a “coder” because these two words mean roughly the same thing, and you never know exactly what terms have been programmed into the ATS.
