Campus Shop - Sales Associate

Permanent, part-time position beginning August, 2015.

St. Michaels University School is looking for a passionate and energetic individual to run our school store.

The SMUS Campus Shop is an important service to our school families as well as a source of revenue that supports school operations. It provides convenient, one-stop shopping for the school uniform, athletic clothing, school supplies and school-branded gifts. We also run an online store that serves our alumni as well as our out-of-town boarding families.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

    Retail sales experience providing a high level of customer service (clothing retail experience is an asset)
    Knowledge of merchandising and the ability to create attractive displays
    Strong computer skills – experience with online stores is an asset
    Strong planning and organizational skills
    High energy, enthusiasm and passion for our products, the school and customer service
    A positive attitude and the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
    Ability to lift up to 11 kg (25 lb)
