As a Quantity Surveyor, you will manage all costs relating to construction of exhibition stands, from the initial calculations to the final figures. You will seek to minimize the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.
You will be involved in a project from the start, preparing estimates and costs of the work. When the project is in progress, you will keep track of any variations to the contract that may affect costs and create reports to show profitability. In this role you will be also responsible for: Providing Sales/Production teams with accurate costing within the deadline, in order to ensure smooth completion of projects. Preparing work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents; Identifying and calculate the labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents;
Maintaining the cost database by entering accurate information; Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities. Performing cost control.
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Estimation, and budgeting or quotation preparation in both joinery and exhibition stand building company. A sound knowledge of the local interior markets and materials. Good knowledge of PC with advanced Excel skills.
