Veolia is the utility operator of the district cooling system at Abu Dhabi Saadiyat Island. We are seeking suitable candidates to fill the following position:

Instrumentation and Controls (IandC) Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES DURING CONSTRUCTION STAGE:
• Reviewing design documents, material submittals, shop drawings, OandM manuals and as-built documents.
• Supervising / inspecting installation, testing and commissioning activities for contract compliance.
• Conducting progress meetings with contractors and suppliers and issuing meeting minutes.

RESPONSIBILITIES DURING OPERATION STAGE:
• Troubleshooting and maintaining IandC systems
• Enhancing / updating PLC / SCADA software programs / functional specifications / control philosophy.
• Preparing specifications, schematic drawings and bill of quantities for new works and reviewing offers.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree in Instrumentation and Controls Engineering.
• PLC / SCADA programming experience in cooling systems, utilities industry and/or continuous processes.
• Driving license and residence in Abu Dhabi.
