Reputed Group of Companies in UAE requires Shipping Incharge / Dispatcher for their Construction subsidiary at Abu Dhabi. Candidates seeking the above position should have atleast 3 years of UAE experience as Dispatcher and good experience with coordinating and managing the delivery of ground transport.
Work Activities:
- Ships items by examining items, destination, route, rate, delivery time; ordering carriers.
- Verifies items shipped by matching bills of lading; reconciling quantities; noting discrepancies.
- Arranges shipments by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating delivery requirements; placing and expediting orders.
- Keeps supervising personnel informed of item availability, shipment date and method, and current status
- Filing the appropriate paperwork, monitoring driver progress, processing orders and managing driver concerns.
- Prepare daily work and run schedules.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess Degree/High School Diploma or equivalent
