Maintenance engineer

Maintenance engineer is responsible for maintenance of the complete structural steel fabrication facility which has a high degree of automation with cnc machines, overhead cranes, conveyor systems, automated shot blasting and various other fabrication related machinery.  The engineer will configure and run a team of maintenance technicians. Engineer will develop and manage preventative maintenance programs, diagnose and repair or get repaired from outside sources all the machinery in the facility as well as do all that is necessary to keep the entire facility clean and in good efficient and safe condition.  Engineer will be responsible for proper maintenance record keeping as well as controlling maintenance cost. Engineer will be responsible for ensuring all technical installations and equipemnt is duly certified as per regulatory health and safety requirements. Engineer will keep abreast of latest technological trends of steel fabrication machinery in order to improve the efficiency of production systems.
