Our travel company is in need of a VISA OFFICER candidate who knows Arabic typing will be preferred. Below listed are the JD:

Primary Responsibilities

• To provide actual and correct information to our clients about entry visa procedure
• Typing new visa requests
• Communicate with clients for new visa requests and follow up for required documents
• To ensure all relevant documents are received before applying for visas and accurate information are in put in immigration system before posting the visas for approval
• Duly follow up on approval of visas online and inform company PRO for any issues to ensure that visas are cleared in time.
• Maintain immigration account balance and ensure enough credit are available for daily visa requirements
• Provide immigration account data to accounting department for their records
• Over stay clearance and checking and to ensure that clients entered the country under company sponsorship leave the country within 14 days period
• Follow up on prepayment and collection for group visa requests
• Sending out approved visa requests to the clients
• Ability to deal with clients from various countries without prejudice and should be extremely helpful towards the customers
• Verbal communication with very clear accent and should be able to understand easily by the clients.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs
• Maintain a professional image of him/herself all times keeping company’s reputation in mind
• Maintain discipline and punctuality.
• To anticipate customers’ needs
• Able to manage time effectively during tours
• Ability to work under pressure
• Must follow company standards and procedure

 

Qualifications and Skills :
• High School or College Graduate
• Minimum 2-3 years work experience within a Tourism environment preferably with a travel and tourism company.
• Ability to build positive working relationships (internal/external)
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft office package
• Good typing speed
• Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels within and outside the organization
• Self-motivated, Enthusiastic, Reliable and Sociable.
• Team Worker
• Achievement orientated, ability to use own initiative
• Be able to speak, read and write English. Additional languages will be preferred.
