Digital sales specialist 

Join our sales team with pique newsmagazine, whistler question and squamish chief in the role of digital sales specialist. 
Key duties and responsibilities: 
- prospect and develop new business 
- achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets 
- ability to clearly articulate the benefits of a sound digital marketing strategy 
- successfully build and deliver compelling presentations for our digital solutions 
- assist clients in development of a 360 degree online strategy 
- work with internal stakeholders on product development and revenue opportunities 
- ability to analyze and report on campaign metrics and secure renewal business 
- contribute to the success and growth of the sales team and the overall online revenue 
- proactively review client sites and digital business practices to enable needs analysis selling 
- understand and keep abreast of industry best practices and the competitive landscape as it relates to digital marketing and advertising 
Education, qualifications and skills 
- previous sales experience required 
- demonstration of strong background in web 2.0 and beyond & interactive marketing - training will also be provided 
- ability to work effectively both independently and as a team player 
- strong understanding of the local advertising landscape a benefit but not required 
Personal qualities 
- self motivated with the ability to find creative resolutions and drive for results 
- ability to listen and respond objectively to new ideas 
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a high pressure, ever changing environment 
- detail orientation and organizational skills are key 
- listening skills are imperative 
- ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and in writing, is essential 
- excellent customer service and selling skills required
