Procurement Officer Interior Fit Out

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ensures delivery of approved materials requests/purchase orders for materials, supplies and services at best value and within company established quality standards.
2. Sees to it that requisitions are processed in accordance with established company policies and control procedures.
3. Coordinate with Storekeeper in order to ensure availability of critical stock items.
4. Analyze and negotiate purchasing contracts within the budget subject to the approval of Line Manager.
5. Develops and maintains adequate sources of supply in accordance with the company’s requirements, specifications and standards.
6. Obtaining in information regarding current developments or trends in buying/purchasing methods, prices, product changes and technical specifications, supply situation and laws and regulations affecting purchasing and delivery of items procured by the company.
7. Maintains close follow up and liaison with suppliers in accordance with established procedures to assure timely delivery of materials, supplies and services.
8. Sees to it that purchasing records are properly maintained.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
1. Min. 3-5 years experience as Procurement Officer in an interior fit out contracting company in the UAE.
2. Previous experience in projects related to Food and Beverages (FandB) such as Restaurants, Cafe and Retail Shop an advantage.
3. Educational Background: Business Administration, Accountancy, Commerce, Civil Engineering
4. Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office
5. Pref. with valid UAE Driver’s License but not required
6. Nationality: Any.
