The main purpose of the position is to manage the delivery of project requirements and successful implementation of Transportation Management Centre ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) project from Kick?off to handover. The Project Manager will represent company to the Client and the Consultant, with the authority to make final decisions and executions on behalf of the company. - Responsible for delivery of project requirements and successful implementation of the project. - Responsible for ensuring project delivery within financial budgets - To plan projects in a structured manner inline with approved Project plan and ensure the end to end project lifecycle is fully managed. - To ensure project governance is maintained and is compliant with business processes - To ensure that quality standards are fully understood and maintained - To ensure that risk and issues management is rigorously applied - To ensure projects follow best industry practice and compliance with business processes - To work closely with all stakeholders, agree with the business requirements and scope for the project and develop effective working relationships with the stakeholders. - To Liaise with all project stakeholders on an ongoing basis - To Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path and Monitor and track project milestones and deliverables - To develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, documentation, and presentations as per client’s requirement within the agreed timeframe - To proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans - To document preparation for meetings and assist with collation of management reports where necessary - Shall be based in site office and visit the site locations when necessary. - The Project Manager shall have the ultimate authority over the work required in completing the requirements of the Contract - Supervisory, office personnel and subcontractors shall report to the Project Manager - Ensure timely submission and approvals of technical submittals / test results of the project to the Client / Consultant. We are looking for a candidate with a progressive experience of 20 years of experience in ITS and road transportation systems. 4 years Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Transportation Systems is a must. Salary offered is AED 50000- 55000 per month.
