We are looking for ITS system Engineer with the main role to support the Project Management team in the Implementation of ITS Network (Intelligent Transportation Systems) from Project Kick?off to handover and on?going life cycle support. The ITS Engineer is also responsible for the installation process of the ITS System Components, including the multimodal ITS System Integration and related cabling works. - Responsible for project Implementation of ITS Systems network from Project Kick?off to handover under the guidance of Project Manager or his Delegated Authority (Line Manager). - Supervise the sub?contractors / Installers on the installation of the ITS System Components. - Responsible for multimodal ITS sub?systems Integration with the Control Centre and related Fibre/Data cabling works - To co?ordinate and liaise with sub?contractors for successful implementation of the project and to attend site meetings with the consultant/client whenever required - Ensure timely submission and approvals of technical submittals / test results of the project to the Client / Consultant - Responsible for supporting Line Manager for Customer Relationship Management at larger perspective and direct customer relationship at operating level. - Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements. - Ensuring cost budgets pertaining to the project - Ensure maintenance of technical documentation of all operating and maintenance procedures - Responsible for carrying out Customer support, diagnosis, remedial repairs, calibrations and planned preventative maintenance at client’s premises or installation site Ideal candidate will be well experienced and good technical understanding of ITS System Components and associated equipment’s. ITS systems includes but not limited to Variable Message signs, Video detection systems, Highway advisory radios etc. We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Electronics Engineering with 8-10 years experience in ITS Systems Integration with a sufficient background in Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks. Salary offered is AED 15000-16000 plus annual benefits.
