The main purpose of the position is to support the Project Management team in the Project Implementation from Kick?off to handover. The Quantity Surveyor is responsible to measure, calculate and/or estimate construction quantities and costs for planning and payment purposes. Quantity Surveyor is also responsible to agree interim and final monthly payment certificates with the Engineer's Quantity Surveyor.  - Responsible for timely project Implementation under the guidance of Project Manager or his Delegated Authority (Line Manager). - Responsible to measure, calculate and/or estimate construction quantities and costs for planning and payment purposes. - Responsible to agree interim and final monthly payment certificates with the Engineer's Quantity Surveyor. - Responsible to Reviews Drawings for Quantity Take off. - Responsible to prepare interim monthly progress payments and final payments certification. - Responsible to prepare Cost Forecast as per scheduled programs. - Responsible to check and verify sub?contractor’s payment certificates against actuals. - Responsible to conduct site supervision and monitor project daily progress of work, coordinates with Client/Consultant. - Responsible to monitor material delivery, stock balance and prepare materials procurement list. - Responsible to prepare monthly progress payment, cash flow and quantity calculation. Prepare program schedule forecast and cost status report. - Responsible to prepare pricing of claims and variations based on contractual agreement - Responsible for supporting Line Manager for Customer Relationship Management at larger perspective and direct customer relationship at at local level. - Ensuring cost budgets pertaining to the project.  We are looking for a well experienced Civil Engineer with around 10 years of experience with a good technical understanding of high value infrastructure and technology/highway project. He shall have responsible positions with engineering or construction companies, at least five years of which should have responsibilities and duties of a quantity surveyor on roadway and utility projects. Salary offered is AED 15000-16000 plus annual benefits.
