Outside Sales Rep – Truck-Mounted Snow / Ice Equipment

Drive Products is a National distributer of truck mounted equipment, and a Canadian Leader in the design and installation of systems solutions. Due to growing business in our Alberta operation, we have an immediate need for the following at our EDMONTON location:
OUTSIDE SALES REP – TRUCK-MOUNTED SNOW / ICE EQUIPMENT
As the Outside Sales Rep, you must strive to maintain current customer relationship while constantly securing new customers with the understanding that growth and development of the assigned territory is a major goal. The Outside Sales Rep must have the ability to become knowledgeable of the assigned territory including;
All identified equipment product lines including, but not limited to, plows, spreaders, pre-wet system, anti-ice solutions, control systems, etc…
Understanding the marketplace and potential for each product along with complementary product lines
Other responsibilities include contacting and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services; emphasizing product features based on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations; negotiating prices and terms of sales and service agreements; and preparing sales contracts.
Qualification:
3+years of relevant experience in the truck equipment market preferred (or equivalent combination of training, education and experience)
A valid driver’s license.
Truck Equipment, Industry and Hydraulics knowledge an asset.
Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
Demonstrated time-management and organizational skills with in a fast paced environment.
Detail oriented with excellent problem solving skills
Computer literate with proficiency using basic programs such as Windows and Outlook.
