Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility will be providing the application engineering projects for railroads globally
Perform application engineering of products for specific customer applications
Electrical schematic design
Installation and test instructions
Implement engineering designs and or changes with respect to control systems hardware and software.
Diagnostics software updates
Develop and maintain project processes as required
Perform on-site control system and locomotive commissioning at globally located rail yards
Provide customer support
ZTR is looking for exceptionally diligent applicants with strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills in addition to the following requirements:
Electronics, Controls or Electrical engineering degree or diploma
5 years with control systems engineering
Experience in rail industry and systems integration preferred, although automation industry experience a definite asset.
Knowledge of physical, electrical and environmental design standards for locomotive applications
Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
This position is available in London, Ontario Canada.
