Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our IT team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring their hardware and software issues are resolved efficiently. Your role will involve troubleshooting technical problems, setting up and maintaining computer systems, and assisting with IT projects. Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person, addressing hardware and software issues.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
Set up user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
Assist with software updates, patches, and security measures.
Support remote users with virtual private network (VPN) and remote desktop access.
Maintain IT inventory and track equipment and software licenses.
Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain network infrastructure and security.
Create and update documentation, including IT policies and user guides.
Provide training and guidance to employees on IT best practices.
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and recommend hardware and software upgrades.
Assist with IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.

Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common software applications.
Knowledge of hardware components, networking concepts, and IT security.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
Flexibility to work various shifts and provide on-call support when needed.
